Introduction to Presource Pack Manager

The Pack Manager tool is a helpful way to identify fast moving surgical packs and any production issues that would cause disruptions in patient care. I find the ‘run without’ flag particularly helpful yo know which items are backordered within the pack without having to physically see the outer packaging or contact a sales representative.
This ensures that alternative sourcing solutions can begin quickly and reduce risk created by missing items.

Our Custom Pack Team uses Pack Manager on a daily basis. It’s a very helpful tool in helping us identify the various surgical pack components and compare packs that are used within our hospital.
We also use it to identify version rolls, availability and various other things to support surgical procedures.
